This special technique was invented to cover surfaces that were difficult to reach – such as church cupola – with mosaics, prepared in advance in the workshop. The surface is very smooth to the touch, with no gaps, the patterns are regular and harmonious. It is currently used for works displayed in public places and in all cases where total safety is required (cut- and scratch-free surfaces even during rapid cleaning operations).
