The mosaic surface may be very irregular: tesserae of different heights create luminous effects, adding originality and prestige to the mosaic. The use of very particular materials add a touch of uniqueness to the mosaic; we may often find small, completely extraneous objects with the glass tesserae, selected and positioned in perfect harmony with the mosaic.
